About The Event

The 2026 Indian Health Service National Clinical and Community Workforce Summit is the nation’s premier opportunity to assemble and hear from nationally recognized speakers, health care providers, Tribal leaders, and officials committed to improving health outcomes in American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) communities.

This year’s Summit, themed “Alzheimer’s and Elder Care: Knowledge, Compassion, and Community at Work,” will focus on addressing the unique challenges and opportunities surrounding elder care and memory health in Tribal communities.

The conference will be held March 10–12, 2026, at the Hilton Denver City Center Hotel in Denver, Colorado. It will bring together presenters and participants from across the nation to share research, highlight promising practices, and engage in professional development. The Summit also fosters collaboration and networking, with Alzheimer’s and Elder Care as the central theme — but all are welcome, and additional IHS priorities will also be included.
